Dear Members Due to the different comments about the current situation with the greens on the South Course, specially holes 13, 14 and 16, We would like to inform you about the reasons ,what measurements have been adopted and how long we expect it will take to see our greens in the conditions that they have been through the year

We want also to inform, that since the first time we have had discussions both within the field Committee, and with subject matter experts, to take the right decision, to deal with the circumstances that have taken place in 2015. 

We would like to inform Members that the work schedule and maintenance planning of the Golf of the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina courses, has been that we have been the same that we ha been using for several years successfully, however weather conditions this year have been exceptional, nevertheless we think that this situation is contained, and not worse.

One year more trophy Ninal Digsmed was held at the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina, in this its seventh edition, and as every year we had full entry with  maximum, 72 players from Benjamin to Juniors, and all enjoyed a great day of golf at the Pitch Putt.

Angel Hidalgo and Calvin Greshner in Play Off final is almost a classic, because this is the third time that they have to break the tie, and for the third time, again, Angel won

Pablo Rodríguez-Tabernero and Belen Amorós have risen with the victory in the Memorial Norberto Goizueta, scoring for the masculine and feminine of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation, which concluded today in the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina and which was played to 72 holes in Stroke Play Scratch form.

In men's category, the player of the Real Club de Golf de Sevilla, Pablo Rodríguez-Tabernero, it has imposed a total 284 shots (- 4) and after having signed today a round of 74. For its part, Calvin Greschner which, with a final round of 70 strokes, has pursued win until the last moment - won the runner-up with just one blow more than Seville, 285 total (- 3).

The player of Guadalmina, Antonio Cruz-Conde, who has signed a total of 287 hits (- 1) ended in third position.

Regarding the female classification, triumph has been to the Valencian Belén Amorós, that it has completed a total of 298 hits (10) and six ahead of the Federated by the Club de Golf Bellavista, Esperanza Serrano. With one additional shot, has followed it the third Lucila Puente of the Real Club de Golf de Sevilla.

For its part, madrilenian Eduardo Corsini, with 294 hits (6), won the Championship in Mid-Amateur category.

Finally, the winners in the handicap ranks have been Bil Bil Golf, Javier Quero - player with 280 hits NET (- 8) - and the Federated Novo Sancti Petri, Isabel Marín, with 283 net shots.

The awards ceremony has had the presence of don Fernando Goizueta, son of don Norberto Goizueta and Medal of the Royal Andalusian Federation of Golf. Next to him, have chaired the ceremony don Ángel de la Riva, President of the Real Andalusian Federation of Golf; Don Ignacio Iturbe, delegate in Malaga of the Royal Andalusian Federation of Golf and attached to the Presidency; D. Marc Mueller, delegate Junior of the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina; D. Ignacio del Cuvillo, Director of the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina; and D. Rafael Toval referee of the tournament.

The winner of the Mid Amatueur,  in the picture, reserved for Members of Real Club de Golf Guadalmina older than 35 years of age, was D. Luis Manene, in the aditional information you may see the picture of all winners.

TRADITIONAL GALA cancer: About five hundred people attended the solidarity event.

Around 500 people, more than 400 gifts donated for the raffle... The traditional Gala cancer resurfaces again gaining prominence after many, many years to be held in Marbella. It is one of the oldest galas that are held in the city, and although he had a few years of misfortune, it has returned this year with force. The presenters in this occasion were Ana García Lozano and Agustín Bravo, attended by faces, also known as the singer María José Santiago, Carmen Lomana, the model Verónica Hidalgo and María José Cantudo among others, businessmen of all nationalities, the Mayor of Marbella José Bernal, and above all many people wanting to work together for a good cause. The venue once again, the Real Club de Golf of Guadalmina, adorned for the occasion, which completely altruistic offered its facilities for the event, as well as collaborate on the organizational aspects with its staff. Its President in Marbella, Maika Pérez de Cobas was receiving the guests one one which enjoyed a welcome cocktail and a delicious dinner served by Antonio Campuzano from the Group Dantonela with the collaboration of the businessman Pedro pablo Lepanto and the help of students of Les Roches Marbella international hospitality school.

The Gala was enlivened by Jorge Hernan Baena, the Los Alpresa group and Los Bravos.

Guests enjoyed until late in the nigth.

The Real Club de Golf Guadalmina was again the perfect venue for this event, which is beginning to be known as the Gala in the summer of 2015 and that it has not begun.

For the second year in a row, Real Club de Golf Guadalmina won the four teams event G.A.S.P. teams representing Guadalmina, Atalaya El Paraiso and Santa María 

This  year the team was formed by  Ángel Ibáñez, Eric McLeod, MIguel Ángel Gutierrez Oneto José Duarte, Pedro Ortega, Gary Compson, Emilio Bueno, Peru Alonso, Sam Gardezzy, Antonio Guerrero, Antonio Gil bajo under the Captancy of Juan Jiménez.

Dear Members:

Next Sunday August 2nd , at the gardens of the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina, will take place the annual GALA dinner in favour of the Spanish Association Against CANCER.

This initiative will try to raise funds to help fight this terrible disease, which strikes each year to our loved ones, and everyone, in one way or another have suffered directly ever.

The evening will begin with a cocktail at 21:00 followed by a dinner served by group Dantonelas at 22:00, enlivened by artists who kindly have offered their participation for free, as the Colombian singer, Jorge Hernán Baena, or Los Bravos and Los Alpresa groups.

The price is € 200 per person, and Members interested in participating and contributing to this cause, they may buy tickets phoning at the A.E.C.C. on telephone 952776800 or 652405388.

Gentlemen are kindly requested to wear dark suit or tuxedo, and ladies in cocktail or Gala dress.

This weekend our Junior Members achieved great successes in Almeria and Austria:

Elena Pany and Lukas Pany have won the Championship National Open for Austria under14 this weekend in the Austrian club of Haugschlag.

It may be the first time that two brothers win the Championship in their respective categories in the same day. Well done.

Closer to our Club , the Andalusia under 21 Championship ended this Sunday at the facilities of Playa Serena, Almeria with the victory of the players of the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina, Laura Gómez and Angel Hidalgo.

With a total of 212 shots, Angel Hidalgo - who was second after the first roundmanaged to conquer the first possition in the final day and has been proclaimed champion of Andalucia under 21.

In the Girls category or member Laura Gómez Manged to take the first place with a total of 222 shots after two days event.

He also player of the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina, Antonio Cruz-Conde, won the runner-up with a total of 223.
