On the 4th and 11th of October the first interclub match of the autumn/winter season 2011/12 was played against El Paraiso. Guadalmina won comfortably 9,5 : 2,5. On the Guadalmina-team were playing: Paco Guerrero, John Mitchell, Paul Heaton, Peter Cullen, Angel Ibanez, Paco Canales, Claes Forsgaardh, Stig Durlow, Lennart Wiberg, Hans Ahlbom, Pedro Irujo and Olaf Eie (captain).
Over the 19 years this match has been played the overall result is 11 : 8 to Guadalmina.

The Social Committee has elaborated 2012 Annual Social Calendar.
This Calendar is subject to modifications, in case of any, these will be announced in due time so Members will be able to adjust their agendas.
Real Club de Golf Guadalmina
Social Committee.
Mr. Gonzaga Escauriaza has informed our President by letter that Real Club de Golf Guadalmina has been awarded with the Plate of the Order of Mertit fromthe R.F.E.G.
The plate will be presented in Madrid next December 14th.
We would like to thank the Spanish Golf Federation for this award

We would like to inform that on the Board are exposed conditions to enter in The Copa Giralda, to e played next October 8th and 9th in Seville.

Sometimes in life we have the opportunity to witness than a historical event.
Miss that opportunity almost always brings regret.
This September, a new chapter in her career will be writen, from the 23rd to 26th participate at the Solheim Cup in Ireland.
A group of Members have worked quickly and tirelessly to organize a trip to support her in those days so important, and of course, enjoy golf at the highest level in a competition which by its nature, makes us more unitted to all Europeans.

The Rotary Club has produced a video
Our Members Antonio Lucha Fernández, José Duarte Aguilar and Leonardo Pardo , as part of the Spanish National Team won in Bratislava the European Senior Championship.
The Spanish Team won by 10 shots over the runner up Norway.

From the 15th to the 18th of August, We celebrated the Golfing Club Week with tournaments sponsored by RIVERSA, GRUPO DANTONELLAS, HOLLIDAY / BRIDGESTONE AND REALE INSURANCE
During the prize giving presentation, Members and friends received their prizes, and we have a raffle among all particpants with lots of prizes (golf equipment)
