Guadalmina hosts the Spanish Under-18 Girls Championship
Real Club de Golf Guadalmina will host the Spanish Under-18 Girls Championship from 19th to 22nd March, one of the most significant events in the national calendar and counting towards both the World Amateur Golf Ranking and the Spanish National Rankings.
The South Course will provide the stage for nearly one hundred of the country’s leading under-18 players, competing over four rounds of stroke play in a championship defined by its high competitive standard and the demands it places on both players and organisation alike.
The field includes some of the most prominent names in Spanish junior golf, alongside players who have recently delivered strong performances in top-tier competitions, ensuring an open and highly competitive tournament.
The championship also brings together players who already represent the immediate present of Spanish golf and continue to develop internationally, reinforcing the standing of this event within the federated calendar.
Representing Real Club de Golf Guadalmina are Blanca Gómez-Balboa (Under-18), Yaiza Morales (Cadet) and Inés Gómez-Balboa (Under-12), for whom this championship represents a valuable opportunity to compete at the highest level on home soil.
Hosting a competition of this nature places Guadalmina among the venues selected for tournaments of considerable demand, where both course condition and organisational standards play a decisive role.
