The Real Club de Golf Guadalmina has once again celebrated the Past Ladies Captains’ Annual Gathering, a warm and cherished tradition that has endured for decades, reflecting the importance of the Ladies’ Captaincy within the history and social life of our Club.
As tradition dictates, the day began with the annual tournament played by the former Lady Captains, competing for the emblematic trophy donated by Lee Harlow 26 years ago.
This year’s winner was Lillan Forsgårdh, who delivered an excellent round with 36 points. The trophy was presented by Peggy Behan, in a moment that was especially meaningful for all those present.
The gathering concluded with a convivial lunch at the Club, providing the perfect setting to share memories, strengthen bonds and celebrate the continuity of a tradition that honours the fundamental role of our Lady Captains throughout Guadalmina’s history.
May this article serve as a heartfelt tribute to each and every one of our Lady Captains, in recognition of all they have contributed to the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina and its Ladies.
