Course Maintenance and New Service Hours

With the change of season, please note that the Caddie Master, Club Storage and Driving Range will now be open from 07:45 am to 20:00 pm.

During this week, until Sunday, September 7th, we are carrying out aeration work on the North Course. This practice is essential to preserve the quality of the greens, as it allows the soil to breathe, improves water infiltration, and promotes strong and healthy root development. While it may temporarily affect play, in the medium term it results in stronger turf, more consistent surfaces, and better playing conditions for all.

Starting on September 15th, the South Course will undergo aeration and vibra-sandmaster treatment, a more advanced process that combines aeration with the injection of sand into the soil.

What is the vibra-sandmaster and why is it important?

This system introduces sand through vertical grooves in the turf, significantly improving the course’s drainage. Thanks to this treatment:

•Soil compaction is reduced.

•Root growth and oxygenation are improved.

•Rainwater is evacuated more effectively, minimizing puddles.

•The course becomes firmer and more playable all year round.

Although the process may look striking at first, its benefits are immediate and long-lasting, ensuring that our courses maintain the high standards of quality that distinguish Real Club de Golf Guadalmina.
