Course Maintenance and New Service Hours

With the change of season, please note that the Caddie Master, Club Storage and Driving Range will now be open from:

  • From 07:45 to 20:00 until 30 September
  • From 07:45 to 19:00 until 31 October
  • From 07:45 to 18:45 as of 1 November

This week, until Sunday 7 September, aeration works are being carried out on the North Course.

This procedure is essential to maintain the quality of the greens, as it allows the soil to breathe, improves water infiltration, and promotes healthy root development. While it may temporarily affect play, the medium-term results are stronger, more uniform turf and better playing conditions for all.

Furthermore, please note that from 15 September, the same works will begin on the Driving Range, the Short Game Area, Aza’s Corner and the South Course, including on this Course the vibra-sandmaster treatment, a more advanced process that combines aeration with sand injection into the subsoil.

Finally, on Monday 22 September, we will complete the aeration works on the Croquet Lawn and the Pitch & Putt Course.

What is the vibra-sandmaster and why is it important?

This system introduces sand through vertical grooves in the turf, significantly improving the course’s drainage. Thanks to this treatment:

•Soil compaction is reduced.

•Root growth and oxygenation are improved.

•Rainwater is evacuated more effectively, minimizing puddles.

•The course becomes firmer and more playable all year round.

Although the process may look striking at first, its benefits are immediate and long-lasting, ensuring that our courses maintain the high standards of quality that distinguish Real Club de Golf Guadalmina.
