Tennis takes on a leading role at the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina with the first edition of the RCG Guadalmina Tennis League — an event designed to enjoy the game, friendship, and the sporting spirit that defines our Members.
The competition, open to male and female Members, will be divided into three categories — 1st (advanced), 2nd (intermediate) and 3rd (semi-beginner). A minimum level of play will be required to ensure that everyone enjoys the League, with a maximum of eight players per level, and a waiting list to complete the draw, according to the order of registration.
Each player should register in the category that they honestly believe best reflects their actual playing level, making it recorded in the “Comments” section.

Registration and Fee
Registrations may be made through ClappHouse, our Website or at the Caddy Master desk, with a fee of €20 per player, which includes tennis balls and light tokens for evening matches.
These will be provided by the “home” player, listed first in each fixture, and collected from the Caddy Master.
The registration fee of €20 per player includes both the balls and the light token, should it be required for night play.
Match Format
The regular phase will follow a round-robin format — each player facing all others, home and away — with short sets to 4 games, and a tie-break to 5 if the score reaches 3-3.
In the semi-finals (1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd) and the final, matches will be played as two sets to 6 games, with a tie-break to 7, and, if tied, a match tie-break to 10.
Points will be awarded as follows: 3 points for a win, 1 point for a defeat in a match tie-break, and 0 points for a direct loss.
All matches will be played under ITF Rules and RFET Regulations, in addition to the present rules of the League.
Each round will have a 14-day period in which to be played, allowing players to freely agree on date and time. If players fail to reach an agreement within the deadline, the Committee will set the day and time for pending matches and will reserve the court directly.
If a player fails to appear within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the match will be awarded to the opponent, except in cases of adverse weather conditions or court closure ordered by the Club.
All results will be published on the Club Notice Board and in the ClappHouse App.
2025 Tennis League Committee
The organisation and supervision of the 2025 Tennis League will be overseen by the Tennis League Committee, composed of Diego Hernández Hernández, Sergio Díaz Berenguer and Marc Muller-Baumgart, who will ensure the proper running of the competition and compliance with its regulations, adopting any complementary measures necessary for its best development.
With this initiative, the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina reaffirms its commitment to fostering the Club’s social life through sport, friendship, and the active participation of its Members.
